Eagle Rise Main Loop Just outside Brigham, you will find the picturesque Mantua Reservoir and Eagle Rise trail. This is a perfect trail for the family or if you simply want an easy, peaceful ride. It is an easy to intermediate trail, with only a few more technical and difficult uphill portions. You can easily walk them if necessary. The trail winds up into the hills surrounding the lake, taking advantage of the beautiful vista and serene atmosphere. You will ride through meadows, past idyllic rural fields, and through small outbursts of trees. This trail is mostly in the sun, so bring a hat, some water, and maybe a picnic basket to enjoy by the lake when you finish the loop. 2. Perry Canyon Trail (Grizzly Peak) For those who are serious mountain-bikers, the Perry Canyon trail is an absolute must. Be warned, this is a tough 10.2-mile hill climb with some technical bends and twists. This route will test you, but it is so worth it to get to the top of Grizzly Peak. For those up to the challenge, this trail will reward you with beautiful vistas of vast mountains, meadows, and fields. You will also ride through enchanting maple groves, providing some shade and cool along the way. Your trip back down the mountain is an exhilarating one, and you may find yourself wanting to go back up, tired though you are, to do it again. 3. Mountain View Trail: Antelope Island Antelope Island State Park, located not on an island but rather a large peninsula, is a fantastic place to spy on the local wildlife. It's a short drive away and boasts several bike trails. This particular trail is easy-going but substantial at 11.38 miles, one-way. This “island” is a special place to bike due to its wildlife encounters. Pronghorn, bison, bighorn sheep, and millions of birds call this place home.
