The highly anticipated Corvette E-Ray has entered its second year in 2025. It brings a hybrid powertrain and standard all-wheel drive to the powerful mid-engine Corvette, creating a lightning-quick sports car that effectively double duties as a daily driver. The powertrain setup on the Corvette E-Ray consists of a naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine located behind the driver, which produces 495 hp. Together, this system produces a blistering 655 horsepower and 595 lb-ft of torque, which enables the car to launch to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The E-Ray includes a Stealth Mode, which allows for all-electric operation at low speeds up to 45 mph. Six-piston Brembo brakes are standard equipment, offering superior stopping power. Standard Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires provide year-round usability, but Pilot Sport 4S summer tires are available for performance-focused driving.
Usable Interior
Thanks to the mid-engine layout, the E-Ray features both a front and rear truck. Together, they provide 12.5 cubic feet of flexible storage space. Seating options vary by trim, with base 1LZ models (both coupe and convertible) featuring two GT1 bucket seats wrapped in Mulan leather. Standard on 3LZ and available in 2LZ models are GT2 or Competition Sport seats. They include Napa leather, carbon fiber trim, eight-way power adjustments, heating, and ventilation.
Style Meets Practicality
Open-air driving is a given, with removable roof panels on the coupe and a power-folding hardtop on convertible variants. Aerodynamic elements such as prominent side air intakes and a rear spoiler contribute to both from and function. For 2025, the E-Ray features two new paint colors: Hysteria Purple and Competition Yellow Tintcoat. Drivers can also choose to include yellow brake calipers on their car.
Performance-Enhanced Tech
An infotainment system with built-in Google is hosted through an 8-inch center touchscreen. It also offers wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Performance Data Recorder to record and analyze every track session.
