1. Bear Lake State Park

2. Willard Bay State Park

Featuring an area of almost ten thousand acres, Willard Bay is a freshwater reservoir that was separated from the Great Salt Lake in the 1960s in order to use it as a source of drinking and irrigation water for the surrounding cities. Since its establishment, this state park has been a popular recreational spot, with visitors coming from all over the state of Utah to practice different outdoor activities, including hiking, boating, swimming, camping, and fishing.

For anglers, the Willard Bay State Park offers designated fishing areas where they can set up their gear and try their luck in the waters. The reservoir is home to numerous fish species, including wiper, catfish, crappie, and bluegill. Some of the most recommended spots for fishing include the North Dike, the Light Pole, and the areas in the northwestern part of the South Marina. 3. Pineview Reservoir

Located in the heart of the Ogden Valley, the Pineview Reservoir welcomes visitors with some of the best fishing and water sports facilities in the region. This reservoir was created during the construction of a dam across the nearby Ogden River and is now a busy recreational spot. Some of the species of fish that live here include bluegill, trout, crappie, and perch. Getting to the Pineview Reservoir from Brigham City takes around 50 minutes by car.
