1. Box Elder Canyon

There's plenty of natural beauty around Brigham City, and one of the best places to enjoy it is at Box Elder Canyon. This striking canyon was carved over thousands of years within the slopes of the Wellsville Mountains by a prehistoric river.

Today, Box Elder Canyon is the perfect place to enjoy stunning Utah scenery. Visitors can enjoy hiking the trails, with tough climbs rewarded with panoramic views of the landscape below, and the chance to see a variety of birds. 2. Brigham City Depot

In the years before the invention of the automobile, Brigham City relied on railways for transporting freight and passengers. As a stop on the Union Pacific Railroad, the city was home to a large train depot, constructed and open to the public in 1907.

While the passenger line is long gone, the depot remains, standing as a fascinating monument to local history. Visitors can enjoy touring the depot and learning about the history of the town and its railway. Brigham City Depot is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2pm to 6pm, and on Saturdays from 12pm to 6pm. 3. Brigham City Museum of Art & History

Brigham City may be a small town, but that doesn't mean it isn't a center for high culture. In fact, Brigham City Museum of Art & History is one of the most prestigious cultural sites in the state. Hosting a variety of permanent and rotating exhibits, visitors can view everything from artifacts from the early days of pioneer settlements in Utah to contemporary art pieces.

Another gorgeous natural area, Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is a 74,000-acre site close to town.
