Nestled alongside southbound 15 and the exit off W. Forest Street rests the gem of Brigham City: a beautiful bird refuge. Experts estimate that there are at least 200 species of birds just within this 74,000 acre stretch. Whether you just love nature or you specialize in birdwatching, the end goal is the same. You can get some excellent pictures of yourself–or just Mother Earth–when you drop by.

The refuge doubles as a hiking spot and is a prime location for local hunting in certain seasons. They offer guided tours and educational programs to learn about the ecosystem and the fauna. Enjoy the Architecture of the Brigham City Temple
Anyone who’s been to Utah has no doubt spotted countless temples dotting the countryside. Brigham City has its own, located at S Main St. and 200 S. Like all temples, this is a holy site for those of the LDS faith. You may not be able to enter unless you are a member, but there’s nothing stopping you from marveling at the white-stone architecture and perusing the visitor’s center. There are plenty of excellent spots to take a photo alone or with the rest of the family.

Experience Railroad History at the Depot Museum
Off W. Forest St. and to south of Reeves Pioneer Park rests a piece of Utah’s railroad history. Although the days of the railroad rush are over, you can still get a curious slice of that time here–from Native American artifacts to relics from America’s pioneer past. You are certain to get some excellent pictures, especially when you’re ride on the historic Jupiter #119 locomotive.
