Performance and Charging

This edition of the Bolt EV offers two trim levels – 1LT and 2LT – both of which come with a front-wheel drive all-electric powertrain that includes an 11.5 kW capable onboard charging module. This setup produces 200 horsepower, 266 pound-feet of torque, and allows you to get an estimated 259 miles down the road on a full charge. It also lends the vehicle a 0 to 60 mph time of around 6.5 seconds.

Charging the vehicle is made simple with standard DC fast charging capability in all models, allowing you to easily use public stations that offer DC fast chargers. This lends the vehicle up to 100 miles of driving after just 30 minutes of charging. There’s also an available dual-level charge cord, which lets you charge the vehicle both at home or at public charging stations with either Level 1 (120-volt) or Level 2 (240-volt) chargers.

Cabin Comforts and Design

Inside the vehicle, heated driver and front passenger seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are all available and come standard with the 2LT trim. While both trim levels offer Jet Black seats, 1LT models come in upscale cloth, while 2LT models have perforated leather-appointed trim. This edition also has a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, automatic climate control, and a false cargo floor for times when you need even more space.

The vehicle’s design offers both convenience and style, with solar-absorbing glass, LED tail lamps, automatic on/off headlamps, black power heated side mirrors, and signature LED daytime running lamps with sequential turn signals on every model. 17-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels come on 1LT models, though there’s also a set of available machined-face aluminum wheels with Carbon Flash-painted pockets that come standard on 2LT models, also 17 inches.

Next-Level Tech and Safety

Standard tech highlights include the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and an 8-inch diagonal driver information center. All models come with a 6-inch audio system, though there’s also an available Bose premium 7-speaker system in 2LT models, as well as an optional wireless smartphone charger and multiple USB ports. While both models come with the HD Rear Vision Camera to help with reversing, the 2LT trim also comes with the 360-degree HD Surround Vision camera system.
